Unicorn Challenge # 56 - Food and/or Drink

The theme this month is Food and/or Drink.  I have used an image from Bugaboo, called Butterfly Bear Watermelon"  not something I am enjoying at the moment as I am in the depths of winter.  But I am sure there are lots of people enjoying their watermelon at the moment.

Coloured with copic pens and fussy cut, some glitter added to his wings, mounted on bright coloured cardstock, a diecut added and a stamped sentiment completes my card.

A Place to Start - July 2020

Our theme at A Place to Start this month is Flowers.   I have made my card from things in my stash.

I saw this technique on a utube featured on Facebook, naturally I can no longer find the details to be able to give credit for the idea.  One of the reasons I don't like FB is because it is never in chronological order, once seen forever gone to cyber space.

The lady was making tags and called them skeleton tags, thought I would give the technique ag go in a card

The diecut if place between the card base and the patterned paper to give the effect of this is what is within the card. (Hope that makes sense)

This photo shows the card open and the detail of the diecut

Angie's Digital Stamp Challenge, 5 July, 2020

Anything Goes with no twist is the theme at Angie's Digital;Stamp challenge for July.  This month I chose Girl Puppy Dog.

This is an envelope journal I am making, with lots of different patterns and colours.  The image has been coloured with copic pens and fussy cut, layered onto a flap that opens up to a pocket.

Rubber stamped a small instruction "Flip Me" so you know this little page opens up.

Dandelion Magic

This card for the Fairy and The Unicorn challenge is from A&T and is called Isla.  The image has been coloured with copic pens and stressed around the edges,  Ribbon, gems, and sentiments have been added along with diecut dandelions.  The image is holding onto one, and I have placed a large die cut dandelion in its place. (bit like fireworks for the 4th of July)

Simply Ceate Too, 3 July, 2020

The theme this month is Red, White and Blue.  I've decided to use some papers from my stash, in fact just one patterned paper.  This paper had the little heart pattern one side, the other was striped with the scalloped border.

Diecut flower and stamped sentiment completes this very easy card.

Pearly Sparkles, 3 of a kind July Challenge

This month's challenge at Pearly Sparkles is three of a kind.  I did wonder what I was going to make and then decided on a mixed media art journal page.

The background has been painted with Acrylic Chalk Paint, coloured pencils, fineline marker.
The birds and the quote are both stamps.

The trees were ones I have had in my stash for long long time, they were part of a digital kit (can't remember which) that I had printed, still had some left over.

I did try a few different things with the trees, then decided on a collage of paper napkins (small pieces twisted into bows.
