Crafters Cafe March 1023

This month's theme is "Round, round, round.  Think circles, anything round.

Wonderful Sponsor

Sheepski Designs

I chose  Head Stand for my card.  Had so much fund making this card, I made half a dozen.  Often wonder about colouring snowmen, so for each of these cards, I chose to use the colour of the background.

Happy Birthday

Recently I found an FB page concentrating on using scraps of paper.  Now I have found the perfect monthly challenge to compliment the page.

The Outlawz No Stamp Challenge, time to start creating.

For this card I have used diecuts and scraps of paper.  All the paper used is doubled sided patterned paper from Stampin up.

Love Birds

The sponsor of the Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenge for March is Sheepski Designs, called Love Birds.  I digitally coloured the back ground, layered it onto a card base, then added some heart ribbon and paper flowers.  I was thinking of an Engagement card when I made this one.

Having so much fun lately, I have found a FB page called "Use those Scrap Papers and I am getting so many ideas.  This card was made for a weekly challenge, this one called "Mail Letter Border"

Check out Face Book, you just may get some great ideas. The background paper I found in my stash, just the right size.  The envelopes was a graphic I printed on different coloured cardstock.  I printed a few extra, so they will turn up on future cards.

Pearly Sparkles Challenge March 2023

This month's theme is to use a Sentiment or Verse.  Have always loved this word art from Meljens Designs, Get Well Soon. Coloured with copic pens, I have used a scalloped die to cut the image out (actually half the die)

Crafters Cafe Challenge 15th Feb - Cute

The theme for The Crafter's Cafe Challenge this fortnight is Cute and what a great the sponsor  ofr the challenge
Polkadoodles

I chose to make a birthday card with Polkadoodles' "Meribelle Mermaid Hello Sailor " image, I realised later the image would make a great engagement card.

I printed the image on a digital coloured background that I made, colouring the image with copic pens and a bit of glitter.  The pearl in the oyster shell has been made using liquid pearls,   I typed and printed the sentiment along with the image.

Pretty Flowers

This month at The Outlawz Progressive Freebie challenge, we received a pretty flower image from Sandra.

I printed the image 3 times, but only coloured one of the copies with copic pens, adding some liquid pearls and glitter.  Fussy cut all three images and glued them together to make an element, rubber stamped the sentiment and to finish off the card, using copics I coloured parts of a ribbon.
