Springtime

Whilst the northern hemisphere enters Autumn, down South we head into Spring.  This card features an image from Lacy Sunshine called "Reggie's Swing"  I am totally in love with the boy images from Heather, totally adorable, and when I was lucky enough to win some of her images I grabbed this one first.

Coloured with Copic pens and fussy cut, I have layered him onto the card with double sided tape at the top, then 3d hexagons and by the time I got to the seat and feet I gave him a double layer of the hexagons, so he is swinging out from the card.

Added some small flowers and leaves, handwritten sentiment completes this card.

Baby Time

This gorgeous little boy is so precious, he has two beautiful big sisters to spoil him.  I made this digital page for his parents to enjoy his first smile.

Using inspiration the from photo for this months challenge at Pixels and Papers, I have used elements from  Weeds and Wildflowers various kits to create this page.

Maggie's Apples from Imagine That

This is the cute image from Imagine That this month, I have created the background digitally, using the papers and one of the sentiments included in the Maggie's Apples set.  I am so lucky to work next door to a professional printer and as I had some printing I need to have done, I slipped this image in as well, background plus Maggie.

I so need to work in there and get all my printing done professionally, it is so much better than my printer at home, which is pretty good.  I then fussy cut Maggie and attached her with 3d hexagons from Stampin up.

Splish Splash There is a Party Going On

This very cute image "Dog Wash" is from Scribbles Designs.  I have coloured the image with copic pens, fussy cut and adhered to black cardstock.   Using a couple of different sizes I punched some holes into the black cardstock, then drew and coloured bubbles so they could be seen through the holes, also I drew some smaller bubbles at the bottom of the image.

There were a couple of songs I could have used "Rubber Ducky" would work for a younger child, but I chose to go with splish splash for my party invitation.

Brown Sugar Challenge #164 - Anything but a card

Our sponsor this week is
Crafty Sentiments

I received this cute cow, called Momo for my project, a paper bag album.

I found these small gift bags (4.5 x 7 inches) ideal for a small album with pockets in which to place things.  Super easy to make.

I coloured Momo with copic pens and fussy cut her out, Using different patterned papers on each page.  For the cover I made a red flower, added some bows and a sentiment.  Inside I have attached 3d christmas stickers.

Great stocking filler, with stickers, maybe some money and or gift card.

I chose a set from Deedee's Designs called "Up, Up and Away".  The set comes with both coloured and line images.  I have used both on my card.

The background of clouds, I digitally created, then place the little red hot air balloons from the set on the background with a little shadow.  The sentiment is one of 6 that are also included in the set.

I then added 2 clouds from Flourish with a Bling for some dimension.  I printed out one line image and coloured it with Copic pens, fussy cut and attached with 3d hexagons to the background.

Frame It

The image I have used on this card is from A Day for Daisies, called "Skirt of flowers" and it is the freebie this fortnight on the challenge blog.

I have been wanting to use a window on a card for sometime now, and this diecut from Stampin Up was perfect for my "frame"

The image had been coloured with copic pens. I have used a brick embossing folder and cut two windows, placing one on front and one inside front of card.  The die cut came with a window box as well, this I covered with punched leaves and flowers.  Inside I coloured ribbon to match the image and added some flowers as well.  A small sentiment competes the card.

Party Girl by The East Wind

Here is one very messy journal page.  It is how I always feel at this time of the year, time for those tests! it is not the tests I worry about it is the results.  Fingers crossed I kick butt again.

I have coloured the image with copic pens and layered her onto corrugated dark brown card and pink paper.  Then got messy with paint and pen.  lol it relieved the tension for a while!  Added a pin wheel to complete the page.
