June Bride

My Oh My so many challenges for weddings this month, don't usually see too many weddings in June where I live, to cold and wet.

Always feel something a little different is required for a wedding card.  This time I have used a mauve handmade paper for the card.  One of the things I love about handmade paper is the texture, but I also love the edges, never straight and always soft.  After I made this card, I realised that the edges were not all that clear, so I added some glower paper to the inside, extending out so that the esdging is clearly visible.

I have added silver corners and sentiment, also a silver diecut.

Now onto the bride, she is from A Day for Daisies, called "Wedding Veil"  As with most of A Day for Daisies images, I usually only colour them lightly, this time I have given grey highlights to the gown and coloured her hair and skin.

For the veil I used "Kindy Glitz" an Australian glitter product, this time I spread some crystal glitter over the vail and then used a brush to spread the glitter.  This resulted in a shimmering veil, the pearls were made using white liquid pearls.
