Digitally Made Challenge # 7 Thanksgiving/Grateful - 6 November, 2017

Sadly, this is our last monthly challenge at Digitally Made, I have loved checking out the entries each month and gaining inspiration from the entries.

I used to do a lot of designing for Retro Designs and the kit I have used for today's layout is one of my favourites.  Although Helen does not create new kits at the moment, her store is still open, check it out here.
This kit is called Nostalgic Scrapbook.  So many beautiful elements and papers, many more than I have used.

I grew up in an idyllic childhood.  Amazing parents, true equals, no need for feminism in our household and even now I find the idea of feminism as foreign.  Growing up we only ever saw love, kindness and a beautiful way of life.  We were so lucky they lived long lives and not only their children and grandchildren got to know them, but also their older great grandchildren.

Always thankful for my parents.

The other elements were all in my computer stash from Creative Wings and Artisan Designs.

This month's challenge is all about Pets and Animals

Photo is of our little dog, background, heart, word art and leash from Retro Designs.  Window from Weeds and Wildflowers (no longer available) , flowers from Creative Wings(also no longer available)

The lyrics are from "How Much Is That Doggie in the Window"  sang by Patti Page, in the 1950s.  One of my favourites when I was growing up.

Digitally Made Challenge #3 - Summer - 3 July, 2017

Another Scrapbook page for my digital family album.

This is an old photo, can't remember when I was that thin (hmm 1973), the little fellow with all the dark hair is our first born, the little blonde girl was someone on the beach that wanted to play with him.
I have used pieces from Createwings Designs to create this page. Dawn was creating beautiful digital kits, but sadly at the moment they are not available.  Check out her facebook page

Digitally Made Challenge #2- Use a Quote - 5th June, 2017

Our sponsor this month is "We are 3".

I have used Ladybug Matilda, Banner, Early Bird Sentiment and Watercolour papers all from our sponsor.

I have coloured the sentiment to blend with the papers and also put a purple border around the banner.  The photo is of my sister and I fooling around in an OMG Photo Booth that was set up at a family wedding.

Digitally Made Challenge No 1- Anything Goes - 1st May

Hi and welcome to a wonderful new Digital only challenge.  Commencing 1st May and from then on the first Monday of each month.

I've used some pieces of kits from Retro Designs, check out Helen's store for some beautiful vintage and retro designs,to showcase some pictures I took on a recent holiday in central Australia.

If you ever get a chance to visit this region, grab it with both hands and enjoy the wonder of the huge open spaces, Uluru and The Olgas, to mention a couple of trips.

Autumn Leaves

A digital layout for Autumn.  Although Summer is by far my favourite season, I would not want to live anywhere else in Autumn, the colours are amazing, from the greens turning to yellow, orange and on toward deep crimson and in some cases purple.  I love the panorama of Autumn Colour.

There is a mini challenge at the new challenge site Digitally Made.  Check it out and be ready for the monthly challenges commencing May 1, only a few days to go.

The photo is of a Liquid Amber tree in our backyard.
Ribbons from Karen Lewis' "Little Safari" and "Roar" kits.
Cardboard from Amber Clegg - Just Cardboard
Mushroom and Fairy from Hidden Vintage Studios - Schroom Fairy
Stitching Brush is called Stitches of Thread
