CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge No 5

This is my last card for round 5, I had no idea how I was going to use this image, until I remembered a nursery rhyme.  The cookie image is from Digidrawn.  On the front of the card I created a cookie jar and digitally coloured the cookie image.  I have then printed the image again and cut out one of the cookies and coloured with pencils and blended with baby oil, I did the came with the insert.  I am so happy with the way these cookies have turned out, they are smartie cookies and just baked to a golden brown.  The children come from the Digital Two for Tuesday site and are called sew 9, I have printed the children going all around the outside of the card, to give the impression of them dancing and singing the tune.

CDAC Progressivwe Freebie Challenge No 5

This little girl with her basket of gingerbread men is from SSBS Design.  I have coloured with Copic. The inside has a number of different elements and there a a lot of different Christmas papers on this tri-shutter card.  Lots of fun to make.

I've made this banner to put on the calendar as a timely reminder to us all.  I have used The Bear Angel by Just Some Lines.  Coloured with Copic, the wings have been made from a handmade paper I had in my stash as was the background paper.  Made the signs in PSE.

CDAC Progressive Challenge No 5

Mr second card used the little bunny by Digis by Phooka, I again coloured digitally in cool colours, added a pompom to the hats and gave each little bunny a songbook.  My little carollers are standing amongst some little christmas stickers.  The card is green, although it looks lemon in the photo.

This time we have been asked to have at least two of our projects using the cool spectrum of the color wheel.

As we don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia, the Turkey Image by Sew Many Cards looked like a great challenge for me.  I digitally coloured the turkey and then highlighted and shadowed the image using pencils.  The message inside this card reads "Missing you,  get well soon" I think I definitely got the cool spectrum on this card.

CDAC PROGRESSIVE CHALLENGE ROUND 4

My last entry is a gift card, using the bonus image.  The card opens up so that you can write a message. This card changed as I was working on it, I am trying out a new paper and coloured the image with pencils, blended with baby oil.  I have recently been working on a number of flowers, and one of them caught my eye,  I ended up using it in the centre of the delightful "DaisyDoodles" image as it fitted perfectly in the centre.  I am still think about whether I like to use this paper or not.

This cute little bear image is from "Sew Many Cards Digital Stamps"
Poem inside reads
It is a treat
Today is a birthday, I wonder for whom?
It must be for somebody right in this room.
So look all around you for somebody who
Is smiling and happy, my goodness, it's you!
Image is coloured with Copic

Next is a Best Wishes Card. image is from "Delicious Doodles",
this image has also been coloured with Copic.
