Hang On

Imagine That's Airplanes feature on this card.  I have inked a cloud emboosing folder and embossed the top of the card, inking the rest of the card.

Coloured with copic pens and fussy cut, layered with a spring mechanism.

And the Plane moves.
OK this is the first time I have tried a video on the blog, still learning, but you will see the effect.  On a learning curve at the moment.

Sadly, the card is no longer, luckily I photographed it before our tiny dog found it (we had the doors open and the wind must have blown it off the table) and she had some late supper or maybe an early breakfast.

Christmas Village

The Christmas card features diecuts from Stampin Up and Beccy's Place "Christmas Cottages"

I haven't added a sentiment as I thought it would be a great card to send with a letter written on it to someone for Christmas.  Lots of space to write!

I have used the edge diecuts on a strip of cardstock and folded twice.  Diecut the edgings again, coloured the elements with copic pens, cut them off the strip and glued them to the original diecuts.  Then added the Christmas Cottages from Beccy's place, which were also coloured with copic pens, some liquid pearls were used for the snow.

Pop Up Card

This month's image from the Monthly Progressive Challenge at Outlawz is "General Store" by Createful Hearts.

After trying a precut pop up base and not liking the result, I ended up creating and cutting a card base to create the pop up effect.

I have kept the front fairly plain, using diecuts only.  Then when opened the card has a small scene of the store and surround trees.

The image has been coloured with copic pens and fussy cut and adhered to the card.
Pale green cardstock has been added to the card inside and out.  The inside piece behind the store was a scrap which had some inking on it, hoping it looks like a setting sun skyline  (not sure it is visible in the photo)

The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Use die cuts and/or punches 1/10/17

Three great sponsors this week at The Crafter's Cafe.

 Prize - 5 images
 Prize - 3 images

Prize: $15 Winner's certificate maybe used for any products
that can be found in their on line store.

I've used "Christmas Bells" from Creative Bug to make some Christmas Gift Tags.  I printed the image onto patterned cardstock, cut with a circle punch, added glitter and silver chain sticker onto a diecut tag.

For this card I used Sprinkle N Sparkle's "Sleigh Ride", which comes with the elements separately so you can arrange the scenes as you wish, Then after lots of measuring and measuring, I printed the the scene 4 times, once onto the card and the other 3 times cut using a diecut.

To make sure the diecut pieces were raised and flat at the c\same time, I also cut extra diecuts and adhered them to the printed ones for strength and dimension.

Adding white liquid pearls and silver edging to complete the card.

Layered onto coloured cardstock from Stampin Up, type sentiment and verse which have been diecut.  A few gems have been placed on Toto's collar to complete the card.
