Autumn Leaves

A digital layout for Autumn.  Although Summer is by far my favourite season, I would not want to live anywhere else in Autumn, the colours are amazing, from the greens turning to yellow, orange and on toward deep crimson and in some cases purple.  I love the panorama of Autumn Colour.

There is a mini challenge at the new challenge site Digitally Made.  Check it out and be ready for the monthly challenges commencing May 1, only a few days to go.

The photo is of a Liquid Amber tree in our backyard.
Ribbons from Karen Lewis' "Little Safari" and "Roar" kits.
Cardboard from Amber Clegg - Just Cardboard

Anyone for Tea

Here is a get well card, actually the 2nd, I made and posted the first one, forgetting to take a picture.  Inside the card a verse reads, Relax, Put Your feet Up and Get Well Soon.

The image was one of the flowers offered in Bloobel's Facebook monthly progressive challenge, there were a number of flowers from which we could choose, but I loved Camomile.

Firstly I printed the flower and a typed sentiment onto bright orange cardstock.  Next I printed the flower twice for colouring.  Using copic pens, I highlighted the petals, dotted the centre of the flower and coloured the stem and leaves.  The second copy I used only the flower, colouring similar to first print, both copies have been fussy cut, but the top layer has had some petals removed and attached with 3d dimensions.

April is Autism Awareness Month

These cute images are from Imagine That, called "Autism Awareness" and they were a FB freebie.

I created an SVG file and using my Ecraft cut a card in the shape of a jigsaw piece.  The little boy and girl have been coloured with copic pens and fussy cut, then layered onto the card.  Lots of little coloured circles and a sentiment completes the awareness card.

The Crafter's Cafe Challenge - Easter/Spring - 15/4/17

Prize will be individually designed for the winner
Prize is a $15 Voucher
Prize is 3 digis

I was very lucky to receive "Flower Teacup" and "Daffodils, both from My Stitch back in Twine.

With Flower Teacup I created a Mixed media Canvas, this was an old one that one of the kids had started to paint and never finished.  I painted it with acrylic paints.

The image has been printed twice,  coloured with Copic Pens and fussy cut.  Jewelled hearts, butterflies, a fence, border, wooden kitchen utensils, pearls and a verse have all been added.

With Daffodils, I made a Mother's Day Card.  The image has been printed twice on yellow patterned paper from Stampin Up (you will probably have to look closely to see the patterns) I have used the floral pattern for the coronas and the polka dots for the petals and leaves.

Fussy cut and inked using yellow and green colours.  The front has 1 full image and part of another, layered with 3d dimensions and adhered to the backing paper.  Gems, butterfly and sentiment completes the card.

Inside is another daffodil and a verse

Happy Easter

Here is something that I rarely do, my daughter-inlaw became a stampin up demonstrator about 18 months ago and she is now my principal supplier of papers, cardstock and bits and pieces.  Purchasing couldn't be easier and delivery is quick.

Amanda also started doing card classes and although I have been making cards for many years I am still not too old and I am always eager to see how other people craft, so I go along and learn.

I have never been one for stamping. Recently, I purchased a Stamp Master and now am quite happy to stamp occasionally.

This card is one I made at one of her classes, fully ink and rubber stamped, again that is very rare.  Hope you like it.

The page has been created with pieces from Designs by Abbie "Reflections of a Mother" and Creating Wings kits.

The photo where I am holding the Kola was taken in Queensland, the latter in Victoria.  (And my watermark has me at about the age of 4.  What a dimple!)  A snapshot of so many years.
