The image has been coloured with Copic , I only used muted colours.  Then fussy cut to be mounted onto a green background (which happens to be some packaging from a Santoro product - there packaing has such beautiful colours).  Mounted onto dark green cardstock, adding lace and pearls.  The bows and flowers are from Santoro, little pearls complete the card.

I chose Reggie Let's BBQ and decided to put him in one of my recipe books, with a recipe we are going to have when summer arrives and the BBQ is turned on.

Coloured with Copic pens, layered on top of the picture of the hamburgers.

Now if I am going to put one of Lacy Sunshines cute images in my savoury cookbook, I definitely need a sweet image from my sweet cookbook.

This image is called Cider Apple, coloured wiht copic pens and fussy cut.  She is the loyalty program challenge digi for this fortnight.  Had to add her to my Apple Tart page.

So much fun creating with "Pickles says Hello" the monthly image at "From the Heart".  I have been using linen paper to print lately and thought I would give it ago again.

I created a plain green background and added the image and  one of the sentiments and printed.  I then printed the image on card and coloured Pickles with copic pens.

Fussy cut him out and attached to background with 3d squares, coloured the butterfly, grass and flowers on the bacjkground with copic pens, adding some liquid pearls to the butterfly.  All mounted on coloured cardstock.

First I printed the image on  6 different designer papers.  I then fussy cut the little ducks and eggs from the different papers.  I coloured the flower centres with a copic pen and then covered them in yellow kindy glitter. I also used copic to highlight the grass and added a sentiment.

Lastly, I cut around the whole image and used it for a border inside the card.

Check out our challenge blog to see all the great new images the Design Team have been using in their creations

I was lucky to be given three new images to create my cards.  Bride; Groom
 and Cupcake with Flower.

First one is a stepcard where I have used the Bride and Groom on the one card, colouring them with Copic pens, fussy cut and layered onto diecuts.  I have added bows, flowers and designer paper to complete the card.

The next one is a shaped card.  I coloured the Cupcake with Flower with Copic Pens and fussy cut.  Using double sided designer paper I traced an outline of the cake and cut.  Make the fold in the card so that the front was going to be shorter than the back.  Added a bow to complete the card.  The photos show the card way better than AI have described what I have done.

Our sponsor this week is
A DAY FOR DAISIES
PRIZE: a $12 gift card to the A DAY FOR DAISIES STORE

Always delicate and cute, the image I have chosen for my wedding card is "Flower Girl" and as I also had "Best Man" thought I would add him as well.

The images have been coloured with Copic pens and fussy cut, layered onto designer paper which has a glitter in it.  Used an edging punch, top and bottom on the front and circular die cuts on the inside, which I set off centre.

I have also added some small punched branches, blue flowers, yellow rose buds and other small flowers to both the outside and inside of the card.  Some clear glitter added to each of these as well.

Open Minded Challenges #38 - Doodle - Midway June 13, 2015

We have four great sponsors this fortnight

Crafty Sentiments

Gerda Steiner Designs

Lizzy Love Oddball Art Co.

Scribbles Designs

I chose 'Hedgie with Flowers" from Scribbles Designs for my doodle card.  I coloured his face, paws and flowers with Copic Pens, then I got to work with a darkbrown pen.  I doodled his back including adding the word "Hello".  On some dark brown cardstock I doodled with a white pen, not the easiest of things, but I perservered and got the contrast I was hoping to achieve.

Crafters Cafe Challenge #120 - Anything Goes - 10th June, 2015

Two great sponsors this week
A & T Digital Designs
AND
Melonheadz Illustrations
I received Beehive from A&T for my card this week, this is a kit which contains digital papers, the beehive and ticket sentiment are digital images.

To create this card, I used 4 of the papers to create the patterned background digitally.  I added the image to the background, enlarging the bees and giving them a shadow, I also added the ticket sentiment to the background.  Then printed onto linen paper.

I then printed and hand coloured the beehive, fussy cut and layered onto the background with 3d squares.  I coloured the bees on the background with a copic pen.

For the inside I used the same patterned background, but this time put the ticket without the sentiment into the centre, again adding some more bees with shadows.  Once printed, I coloured the bees.  All placed onto  Kraftcard.

I was very lucky to win a challenge at Through the Craft Room Door recently and was asked if I would likt to do a GDT spot one week.  Of course I said yes, very flattered to be asked.

The image on my card is from "Sandis Samples," which I thank Cara for sending to me.  I have coloured the truck with Copic pens, a rubber stamp from Stampin' Up for the grass.  The background paper is from Kaisercraft from their Tropicana Collection called "Palm Tree"

Inside the card I have used the same DP, layered with a tag also featuring the truck.

Front and Back

These images are from Crafty Sentiments and just seemed to go together. (A gentle touch and couples)

The butterflies and flowers were only on one of the images so I transferred them to the other as well.  I have coloured the images with Copic Pens, paper pieced the hair bow and bow tie.  Cut the image into a rectangle and placed onto some apricot coloured cardstock.

But wait there is more!  I placed the second image on the back of the card.  CAS back and front.
