Two great sponsors this week

I've used two cute images from Sassy this week, "Holiday Pie " and "Little Honey's Tinker Bell" for my thank you cards.

Holiday Pie has been coloured with Copic Pens, I have used a Martha Stewart Circular punch to shape the front of the card and hand cut the scallops on the back.of the card, adding some designer pasper to the inside. Some bling, a hand made bow and a typed sentiment to complete the card.

Little Honey's Tinker Bell has been coloured with brown copics, I have coloured this image a number of times before, but thought for my Northern friends entering Autumn, lets go with browns this time. A study in Black and White

These are some of my favourite photos of myself (I ususally hide from the camera lens), they span 23 years.  One of them is my all time favourite, can you guess which?

The quote on the layout is:
A coloured photo shows the colour of the clothes;
A black and white photo shows the colour of the soul.

I have merged the five photos with masks and layered with a bugaboo image called "Blocks Hummingbird, check out their designs HERE

The Tale of Two Holders

I am trying really, really hard to get my craft room into some sort of order.  I have a very large box of ribbons and just sick of having to go through it all the time to hopefully find the ribbon I need.

I also have some old wooden coathangers, timber in the garage and a husband.  I took the rods out of the hangers and asked hubby if he could cut some holes in it with his thingamajig.  And he came back with the rods in the holes already for me to use, I checked it out for size and it worked perfectly, then thought I could do with another one, so asked if he could make another one but don't put it together straight away.

The one that was put together has been painted with dark blue paint, I have added lace, pearls (hard to see but they run horizontally across the middle of the lace), some flowers and a butterfly.

The other one has been covered in designer paper and has some added braid

Great, they can hold from my biggest reels to my smallest.  Recycled some old coat hangers, some scrap timber and added bits and pieces and my ribbons now have a home, found some I had forgotten I had as well.

Tags Here Tags There Tags Everywhere

I'm in a Tag swap group and finished these off this week.  All are on Kraftcard. Explanation with each tag:

These two tags feature images supplied by Digistamps4Joy for their November Christmas Challenge.

The first one has snowflakes on the image, I filled in the snowflakes with a white pen, added some silver edging and 3d snowflake stickers.  Ribbon and a bow complete the tag.
Second tag from Digistamps4Joy has a Christmas Tree and gift on it, I have used paints, inks, and sparkling pens to colour the image, added a bow to the gift and a 3d gift sticker.  Also added a sentiment and star stickers. For the ribbons this time, I used red, green and gold to complete the tag.

Next tag has an image from Meljens Designs.
Called Christmas Platypus (if you have never seen one of these cute creatures thay are very special). Coloured with Copic Pens and fussy cut, I've added a 3d leaf to the holly leaves already on the image, also another sticker in the corner and a sentiment, Green ribbon with a hand made bow completes this tag.

My forth tag has an image from A Day for Daisies, "Bitsy Bug Dot". The image has been coloured with different inks and highlighted with glitter pens (bit hard to see in the photo) I have added a wand, edging stickers, sentiment and a 3d Bell sticker to complete the tag. Gold ribbon for this tag.
