#566 CHNC Christmas Challenge - 30 October, 2021

#564 CHNC Christmas Challenge - 16 October, 2021

This week's option is to include a stocking.  I have used another of  Beccy's Place's images, this one is called Jolly Holidays, the sentiment comes with the image.  Coloured with copic pens,

I have also used a gold paint marker around the sentiment.

The Crafter's Cafe 15th October, 2021

This fortnight the theme at The Crafter's Cafe is to " Use a Stencil"

With Dr Digi you know there are going to be some fun images, I chose Mavis and Marcus Monday Movie Night, could really have called it Cass, Sasha 24 hour Movie Binge.

Because that is what I have been doing for several weeks, the card is being sent as a thank you to a wonderful nurse who helped me post op with a leg wound.  The image has been coloured with copic pens, glass and bottle have had glossy accents added.   I have used a stenciled edging at the top of the card.  Type sentiment completes the card.

Lizzy's Umbrella

 This cute image is from the set called Lizzy's Umbrella by Imagine That.  If you haven't already checked out the progressive challenger, please do so at: Imagine That Digi Stamp Challenge, Kris sends out a terrific set each month.

I used a black and white image  of Lizzy, the clouds and one sentiment for my card, coloured with copic pens. I have added snow marker and copic pen to the clouds.  Rain drops are from Flourish with a Bling, who sadly are no longer operating.

Halloween Time

This month at The Outlawz Monthly Freebie Progressive Challenge we received the image 8/9B from Oddball Art by Lizzie Love.  So good to get two images with Lizzie Love images, one looking sad, and one looking happier.  I chose the happier version to create a Journal Page for October.

Coloured with copic pens, framed with purple raffia.  I have drawn a spider and added 3 wooden black cats to complete the page.

Unicorn Challenge, October 5th - Autumn and/or Halloween

For this month's DT card, I have used Bugaboo Brat Girl leaves.  Coloured with copic pens, I have used a stitched square die to cut some cardstock.  Stamped sentiment competes the card.

A Place to Start. October, 2021

 This month, our theme is Handmade, no electric diecutters, no patterned papers, check out the challenge for all the details.  https://hereisaplacetostart.blogspot.com/

 I have used some purple cardstock to create a card base.   My Bigshot was used to cute the Frame Garden Classic from Jeanine's Art.  The ribbon threaded through the top right hand corner has been hand painted with copic pens as has part of the die.  Hand tied bow and rubber stamped sentiment completes the card.

Have to say, this was a fun card to make.

#562 CHNC Christmas Challenge - 2 October, 2021

 Option this week is to make a card for "Someone special".  I chose an image from Twistoon, this is the first of her 12 days of Christmas, mall great fun.  Coloured with copic pens, diecut using a stitched die.

For this month's challenge at the Fairy and the Unicorn I have used a Rick St Denis image called  Callista, a very cute witch.  She has been coloured with copic pens and fussy cut, layered onto another background that I have made with offcuts from patterned papers. Stamped sentiments complete the card.

The Crafter's Cafe 1st October, 2021

 A new month brings another Anything Goes to The Crafter's Cafe.

I chose an image and sentiment from her "Field Flower Silhouette.  I created the background with a digital gradient, layered on the flowers and sentiment.  Once printed and cut out, I attached to a white card base, added pink gems and some stampin mist for Stampin Up.

Pearly Sparkles, October 1st - Autumn or Halloween

 This month I chose to do Autumn, using and image from Colour of Love, called  Bubbles Autumn.  The image has been coloured with copic pens and layered onto green cardstock, on a kraftpaper card.  Also added a small sentiment and some mulberry leaves.
