Crafter's Cafe - 15th July, 2024

Crafter's Cafe challenges have changed to Anything Goes, optional twist.

This months option is balloons and Polkadoodles has some cute balloon images and are the sponsor for this month.

I chose to use "Honey Pie Sweet Balloons.  With more packing and less room to create at the moment, I coloured the image with prisma coloured pencils.  I added extra balloons.  Once coloured I scanned the image, adding the balloon sparkle, sentiment and numbers on the balloons.  I also printed the balloons onto an envelope.

Pearly Sparkles, 1st July, 2024

Christmas in July is the theme.  I have used an image from Hettie, called Beach Pony Float.  In fact you may see more of this image as I have made a few different cards with this delightful image and one that suits Australia at Christmas time.

This is a pretty simple card, I have coloured the image with copics, typed a sentiment and added glitter to the water.

A Place to Start - 1st July, 2024

This month at A Place to Start we have an Anything Goes challenge.  A couple of months ago, after we had packed up the craftroom (yes, we are still packing) I realised I needed a birthday card for our youngest grandson, what do you do for a 19 year old! Then panic sat in as I remembered I was also catching up with a 12 year old whose birthday card was due.

Bit of a search on google bought up a great image, in fact I think there is 16 in the set, colours to suit a lot of people.  Here is the link "Video Game Controller"  Each image is very clear and colourful and not expensive.

I downloaded the set, made one into a black and white for our grandson (colours of his favourite football team) and used a blue image for the younger of the boys.

After typing in the sentiment, printed and folded the card, luckily quick and easy as I still had to decorate the cake.
