Trip to Gumbuya Park - Sweetness and Light Kit by Retro Designs

I was able to get some photos of the native animals at Gumbuya Park and I have used Sweetness and Light to create these pages.  You can find it here at  retrodesigning
Who can't resist our cute and cuddle Koalas, Sometimes  you can be lucky, I was the other day, this young Koala left its Mum’s back and came down to walk to the next tree for some food, close enough for me to touch.  But , I didn’t!

Little Wallaby, just sitting in the shade (It was quite hot)
And the last one is of my Son and Grandson feeding an Emu, photo was a bit blurry, as I was laughing at my daughter running away from the Emus, she had not realised they were loose and wandering amongst us, but I needed to scrap such a precious moment.

2nd card for CDAC challenge is using an image from Just Inklined called 'Evolution'. Copics again used to colour image, mounted on red glitter paper and and I added some red and gold ribbon with red gems.  The verse of the song continues inside the card with the words, Come on lets dance up a storm, its your Birthday.

Hard to believe, but we are up to challenge 10 at CDAC.  My first card uses an image from Bugaboo Digi Stamps called 'Mexer Balance Diet", I have added eyes to the glasses and the lady was carry two biscuits, I have left her with one and gave her a bunch of flowers to hold in her other hand.  Copics were used, and I gave her a blue rinse and very red cheeks because she is blushing.  Added flowers to her slippers and some ribbons as well.

Retro Designs - A Christmas Carol

I CT for Helen Weber aka Retro Designs, who creates beautiful elegant kits with a bygone era feel.  You can check out her blog at /  The link above will take you directly to her new store.  I have made 3 pages from this beautiful kit.

The first is about me still having my Christmas tree up, yes, I know I am slack, but hey! I am still in the Chrissy mood. I hav also used a template by Mara for this page.
The second page shows one of the vintage postcads we are lucky to have, my mother in law and her mother saved postcards, so we have abeautiful selection.  Hope you like this one.  Think it would be a lovely idea to again send postcards, I love receiving snail mail.

And the third is one with my grand-daughter.

Dilly Beans Designers & Friday Challenge

For the Winter Wonderland Challenge at Dilly Beans.  I used an image of a girl, (I do not know who created her, as there is no name on the download) coloured her digitally.  Created a background with digital paper from Jill D  Zines from the GP collab kit for Decc 08, added some trees from Artisan Designs Winter Twilight and a bird from Create Wings Designs, Feathered Friends.  Printed girl, bird and a tree a second time and layered on the background scene.  Added some snowflake ribbon and a bow.  Added some glitter for the snow.
