Robyn's Fetish Challenge #179 - Nature - 29 September, 2013
Nature is the theme for this weeks challenge at Robyn's Fetish Challenge
I got to play with Ollie Owl, look for him HERE. I printed him out twice, paper pieced some leaves and his wings, which I place at an angle. Coloured with alcohol markers, added some glitter and a violet that I had pressed, so glad it held its colour, sometimes they fade. Mounted on green and purple cardstock and then placed on a white bevelled board to make a wall hanging, lastly I added a quote about nature.

This very cute witch is from Stitch Bear. She is called "Starr" and I have had her for a while and love dressing her in different colours. It is Spring where I live and this time I thought how about some pretty pink and purples. I have used Copic Pens and Kindy glitter to colour her. I never throw off cuts of paper away, even though sometimes I wonder why. This card has been made with all scrap papers, large pink piece for the card and then small pieces of mauve papers, some faux sititching at the top and letter stickers for the sentiment.

Robyn's Fetish Challenge #178 - Back to School - 22 September, 2013
Sunday again, that means Robyn's Fetish has a new Challenge. this time the theme is Back to School.
I've used three images from KPM Doodles Store, called Bears At School, to make a little scene, look for them HERE
All coloured with alcohol markers, the tree, the picnic bear and the student bear. I have placed the student bear into a think bubble, because as he is having his picnic he is thinking of going back to school, while he catches honey dripping from the hive. Added some bling and mounted all on some alphabet paper and a bright red card.

Brown Sugar Challenge # 60 - Shades of Brown
This weeks callenge at Brown Sugar is being sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps and I got to use Gus Birthday, you can find Gus and lots of other images at Bugaboo Stamps.
The theme is Shades of Brown, I used a lot of the E colours in the Copic range. I mounted gus on Kraft paper, gluing down the bike and then used 3d squares to elevate his torso of the card. I put glue on his knees to thickend the paper and then bent them. All mounted on Kraft paper card, layered with brown cardstocks, the added sentiment came with the image. I also added a "Boys" split pin.

Where does inspiration come from?
I had lots of inspiration for this card, which is about 6 x 6 inches. The little image is from Lacy Sunshine and is the free digi for this fortnights challenge, called "Pearl Sea Kissed Mermaid and can be found HERE. I've been working longer hours for the last 2 weeks and when that happens my mind goes into overdrive, so here is what I came up with:
Firstly the challenges this card is entered into:
Digi Sketch Challenge - Use a Rubber Stamp
(scroll down for stamps - lots of little rubber stamps)
The Paper Shelter # 129 - A card with many folds
(scroll down for folds - 4 folds if you count openening the card)
Lacy Sunshine # 17 - Anything Goes
4 Krafty Girls # 2 - Anything Goes
I have used 5 different coloured cardstocks, lots of bling and a flower. The card lays flat in the envelope and when is taken out the folds pop a bit so someone will check under them, thats the theory anyway.

Autumn Fall Autumn Fall
In Australia we call it Autumn, it is always very pretty where I live and we get the most amazing technicolour panorama whichever way we look. Summer is my most favourite, but Autumn would be second on the list as it can still be quite warm.
This small card has stamped images, which I have coloured with Copic, Kaiser and Touch pens, and then cut out, and used pearls for her buttons. I have punched out flowers and placed gems in their centres. The little sentiment is my own little quote, and if you want to use it, please do so.

The Crafters Cafe Challenge No 29
Flowers! I have used the Pointy Poinsettia Flower from Fred She Said Designs, you can find it HERE. Some of the images at Fred She Said come with precoloured versions, others come with Cutting Files. The Poinsettia came with the digital stamp and the cutting file, I used the cutting file in my Ecraft to cut the Flower on the front, I moulded the petals and glued some layers together. The small flower inside the card, was the digital version, coloured with Copic pens and hand cut. I used red cardstock for the card, which I layered with a silver glitter paper

Fat-tastic Tuesday - Buttons
Fat-tastic Tuesday, the place that loves 4x4 fat pages, has been refurbished and is open for challenges, go over and take a look at these little works of art. FAT-TASTIC TUESDAY.
Buttons, buttons and more buttons: I have lots of buttons, some very old and rare ones, thanks to my Mother In Law and her mother who saved them, no sisters, no daughters, lucky for me I got the button tin. I often feel like I should sort them, but I love hunting through the piles when I am looking for something special, always see something different. lol, maybe I need new glasses.
My first fat page has an image from Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps, look for it HERE
Coloured with Copic pens, added some hessian, stickers and of course glitter, after all Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without glitter, can't begin to tell you how much my hubby loves glitter.
For my second fat page I delved into that pile of buttons and came up with some flower buttons, the cat which is coloured with colouring pencils, has a gem heart nose and a pretty ribbon is called Cat Freebie Friday, I have had him for nearly 3 years, if anyone knows the artist, please let me know. I love him and have used him several times, always pieced, thia time it is his face, cheeks and tail.

Grandparents Day
This little card is to celebrate Grandparents Day - Who would have guessed we get a day!!!! My grandchildren have lots of grandparents, when the first two were born, they had 4 grandparents and 6 great grandparents, sadly three have passed away, but at the ages of 17 and 15 they can still boast as having 3 grandparents and 4 great grandparents, thats pretty special. Our youngest when born had 4 grandparents and 3 great grandparents, at the age of 8 he has only lost one greatgrandparent - pretty special for them to see all the generations, like a living history when we all get together.

Digistamps for Joy challenge #75 - Inspired by the 60s
Things I remember about the 60s, my mini skirt I wore to work was shorter then the skirt I wore to play netball, luckily by then pantyhose were the in thing to wear. Touch tone phones were introduced, no more dialling! the Rolling Stones, Can't Get No Satisfaction (I never have been a Beatles Fan), got scared by the movie Rosemary's Baby and I was allowed to have my dinner in front of the TV to watch the replay of the moon landing, something unheard of in our home. I had listened to it over the phone, thanks to Mum ringing me and leaving it near the radio.
Here is my fat page for a celebration journal I am doing this year, 44 year Anniversary of the Moon Landing, the image is from Digistamps4Joy and was the freebie this month.
Coloured with copic and touch pens, some glossy accent and tiny stars added.
