Our sponsor for the new challenge at Southern Girls is Doodle Digital Stamps, sadly I can't link to store at the moment (something is wrong with the link)

I've used Doodle Digital Digis - Family Love Bunnys.

I have altered a picture frame which holds a family sentiment.

Having co9loured the bunnies with copic pens and fussy cut, they were mounted onto the frame together with some pegs, flowers, lace and RIBBON.

A Big Happy Birthday

Front page news!  Someone is turning 40.  The image on the card is from QKR, called "Newsboy"

The image has been coloured with copic pens and fussy cut.  The card is dark brown cardstock, the front has been layered with crinkled brown paper, dark and light brown cardstock. Topped with the image which has been glued down, except for the corner of his hat and the newspaper he is holding out, they have 3d dimensionals under them to give some depth.

I have coloured and glittered the numbers and layered them onto a tag, which I extended over to the other side.  Also did this on in the inside to the back.

Three little stars and faux stitching completed the front, inside is a stamped greeting.

Back -  (same card, just the sun disappeared and I lost the colour!

The Crafter's Cafe Challenge - Easel Card 15/6/17

The Crafter's Cafe this fortnight has 3 great sponsors.

Prize will be individually designed for the Winner.

Prize £9/$15 Voucher

$15 voucher that can be used for anything in their store

I received some wonderful digital products from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles

Cat 8 from Floral Cats Kit
Papers from Simple Beauty (1 patterned and 1 textured)
Flower and Leaf from Trick or Treat Floral Elements.
Something a little different this time.  I have used a patterned paper as the background for the front  of the card and the textured paper for the mason jar and the inside of the card.

The mason jar is a stamp and die set from Stampin up, which has been inked on the sides.  The greenery is also stamps from Stampin up which I masked, stamped on the card, removed the mask and stamped with the remaining ink n the jar, to give them a softer look as though the are in water.

The little green flowers have also been diecut, the leaves and the cat have been fussy cut.  The little fish is another stamp and diecut from Stampin Up.

Stamped sentiments, punches and some bling complete the card.

And here is a Twisted Easel Card using an image from Polka Doodles called Winnie-starfish-sandcastles-relaxing-sunlounger.  Just what I like to be doing right now, lounging under the sun.

Coloured with copic pens and die cut, I have added a sun from Flourish with a Bling.  Inside are 3 wooden shells.  Stamped sentiments completed the card.

Song Album time again

Haven't added to this album for a while, but this pretty image from Imagine That, just had to go into the book.   The image is called, "Pretty Petunias".  And if you are old enough you may remember this song.

I have coloured the bird and the petunias with copic pens and fussy cut.  Printed the lyrics and then used copic pens, ink, pens etc to create the onion patch scene.

My little book is nearly finished, think I will have try and find another one, glue them together and keep going.

Ribbon Doll

The image from Outlawz Monthly Progressive Challenge this month is from Sheepski Designs and is called "My Fair Lady"  (The image has a long flowing gown)

I have been wanting to try a ribbon doll for ages and Sheepski's image was perfect.

I have only coloured the top part of the image with copic pens, in YR and BG  colours.  Cutting the image at the waist line and discarding the skirt section. (bit disappointed with the photos, I took multiple in different locations but could not get all of the shading, know idea why.)

So much fun, pulled out the old lace box, found some pearl string and ribbons and started playing with loads of glue.

I have added a rose and a couple of aqua flowers to her hat.  Had so much fun making her, thanks Andrea for the wonderful image.

Tissue Season Here

If you haven't already caught up with Bloobel's progressive challenge on Facebook, check it out, each month we get to play with some cute images.

This month's theme in Fantasy Creatures. which included Fairies, Dragons, Unicorn and even a fairy pig.  Check them out HERE.

I chose "Ferocious Dragon", long before I knew his name as Lisa had put a picture of him/her on the facebook page as a hint to what was coming.  To me he looked like he was sneezing.  It is the cold and flu season where I live so that may have been in the back of my mind.

Anyways! here she is (yes I gave her glossy finger and toe nails and glittery wings and accessories.)  Coloured with copic pens and fussy cut, my sneezin dragon adorns a box I made to hold a box of tissues.
