Dilly Beans This cute image is 'Elephant Walk' from Cuddly Buddly and they certainly looked like friends to me. I coloured the images in copic and then paper pieced legs and ears, made the tufts for their tails and their hair from embroidery cotton.

Little Girl Big Hat
Little Girl Big Hat is from Just Some Lines. I've made a double slider card for this cute image. She is coloured with copics, the panels on the card have been created with brushes I have in Photoshop Elements. Gave her some flowers for her bucket and added some down the side to finish the card.
I have posted this card at CDAC PROGRESSIVE FREEBIE CHALLENGES No 18
and at Dilly Beans Flower Challenge

This image is from A Day for Daisies, called Tooth Fairy Joy. Used copics and pencils to colour, paper pieced her wings and gave her some curly paper for hat streamers.

CDAC PROGRESSIVE FREEBIE CHALLENGES No 18
The theme for this fortnight at CDAC is Summer Sizzles. This image from Doodle Pantry is called Decadent Desserts - Split. I coloured the image with Copics and pencils, mounted in in 3D and added some real cherry stalks.

Bling Challenge
Dilly Beans Challenge
This week at Dilly Beans the challenge is to use 'bling'. I have been wanting to use this elegant swan image from Free Vintage Stamps for a few weeks now and thought this would work well with some sparkling water. I coloured the image with pencils and blended parts with zest it. Used some dried fern fronds, which I coloured with copic for some texture together with some dyed cheesecloth. Added some bling to the water and mounted with a flower.

The Crafters Cafe Challenge - Handmade Flowers
Decided to make a bag this month for the Crafter Cafe challenge, I had made this large flower as an experiment a few weeks ago, but wasn't really sure what to do with it. The little butterfly in the frame is a sticker. On the back I layered some petal shapes and some butterfly stickers to complete the bag.

CDAC PROGRESSIVE FREEBIE CHALLENGES
CDAC PROGRESSIVE FREEBIE CHALLENGE No 17
This fortnight the images were all baby related with the theme 'You've got the cutest little baby face'. All of the images were very cute and finely drawn and I could not resist combining them into one card. This type of card probably has a name, I just kept folding and liked what I saw, hope others do also. It is a card for a Mum to be.
Images are: Front of card - Mama to be by Mami Doodles.
Inside images, left to right - Baby Emilia by Odds and Soxlets; Baby Buggy by Designed 2 Delight and Baby face by Glitterbabe.
I wanted the card to be in neutral colours, nothing too blue or pink and I wanted it to be bright and happy. Added some fun verses to the very inside panels, a charm and some bits and pieces to the front.
Now all I need is someone to tell me they are expecting!

Pink Blue and Green - perfect for my Mothers Day card.
A gem of a challenge
I have been thinking about what sort of a card to make for Mum and saw the Pink Blue and Green challenge at A Gem of A Challenge, great I thought love the sound of those colours. I decided on a tri shutter card, which I love making and you get to use up all those little bits of paper/card left after larger projects. After pulling papers from this box and that, with my hubby looking on in bewilderment (he is colour blind to tints of colours, so they all look the same to him). As I started to put the card together a lovely package arrived from Cricut Crafting Grammy with some beautiful stickers in it that I had won on her blog, just perfect and just in time, thanks Suzanne. Colour not so good in first picture, it is supposed to be Autumn here, but winter has arrived early and as I take my pictures outside, it was a bit of a problem today. Rest of pictures came out OK for colour. Anyway, at least the drought is offically over in Australia.
