Crafters Cafe November 2025

All Dressed Up Use the colour Yellow, I chose an image called Beach Time.  Perfect for an Australian Christmas card.

Coloured with copic pens, I cut the little ice cream sign out a second time and layered.  The little beach house and banner comes from Flourish with a bling, sadly now closed.

A Place to Start - 3rd November, 2025

 Anything Goes, optional something new.

I tried out some new pencils I bought that are supposed to be good on black paper.  That jury is still out, I think I need more practice before I decide.

Bit tired of seeing all the autumn, halloween colurs, in the Southern Hemisphere we are in Spring.

The blossom tree is something I first saw way back in 1957, facial tissues were still a novelty and we could get coloured ones, my grade 3 teacher  made a frieze of the seasons and used the pink tissues to make the blossoms.

Pearly Sparkles - November, 2025

Theme is Snowman, I chose an image called Melting Snowman from QKR, have to admit it is probably my most used Christmas image over the years.  I do have two different snowmen that are melting, just seems right for someone living in Australia, something would be terribly wrong if I saw a snowman at Christmas time.

I have only coloured his clothes, nose and cheeks with Prisma coloured pencils.  Not sure if the photo does it justice, but I wanted a woolly type of effect on the scarf.  My trusty Snow marker has also been used.
