Dilly Beans Designers & Friday Challenges

Theme at Dilly Beans this week is RED.  I created a little fish bowl in PSE and cut it out on my Ecraft.  Picked up a cute little mermaid from the Dilly Beans shop and gave her a red hairdo.  Added some glitter to her hair and scales.  Pearls of course for her jewels.

CDAC PROGRESSIVE FREEBIE CHALLENGE No 12

A very pretty image from 'A Day for Daisies' called 'Dressed for Show" is the image I have used for this card.  I coloured the girls clothing and hair with pencils and blended with babyoil.  Their skin was coloured with chalk, as I wanted them to look delicate. Then started looking through my paper stash to see what I could mount them on, I was really lucky when I came across this green and purple paper, the flowers and wings are purple foil, but that isn't showing up in the picture, by stratigically placing the girls on the paper I created two fairies, sitting on flowers getting ready for Cinderella's Ball.

3rd Card for Challenge 12 is an image of a champagne/cocktail glass by Shelly's Images.  I coloured glass with Copics, then mounted on some contrasting card,added a ribbon and  printed Congatulations in Cocktail Bubbly font, thought that sounded right for the image.  There are bubbles in the glass as well, but not sure they show up on the computer too well.

My second card for this fortnights challenge is using two images from Crafting with Jack, 'Happy St Pat's Day' and 'Shamrock'.  I also included Nells Cottage from Becksplace and a wall and Leprechaun, which I think I got from Dover publications.  I have begun using a different paper for Copic pens and I am trying different methods.  I used PSE to create the little scene of the Cottage, wall, leprrechaun and the Happy St Pats design, then I added the Shamrock design either side of the wall.  I used Copics to colour the Crafting with Jacks designs.  Naturally it had to be a green card, and then hunted through the garden and found some clover, dried a clover leaf and stuck that inside, where there is room to write an Irish blessing

CDAC PROGRESSIVE FREEBIE CHALLENGE No 12

Hard to believe that we are up to challenge 12 at CDAC.  Some great images this fortnight.  The theme was Green, Great  and Gorgeous.  For my first card I used two of the images, the first image is called "Nolan and the Bullfrog" by "Fred She Said", I also added the coloured image of  " Hang in There" by "Georgia Ehrmann" (had a little bit of fun with this image also)  Nolan was coloured with Copics, added some card and ribbon and made a trifold card.  Check out the pics below.

Retr0 Designing Kit "Sweetness and Light"

Here is a layout I did for the Brownie Flip Challenge, original layout was by momof5 called gift.  I have used Retro Designings gorgeous Sweetness and Light Kit, to keep with the tranquil feel of the photo.  

Deviant Scrap February ATC Swap

I love doing these swaps each month, sometimes we swap by emails but a lot of the time we use snail mail and I love receiving these cute little cards from around the world.  This is the one I have made for February, theme was, of course, love.  The little image was on our Wedding Invitations 40 years ago, I think I have always been into cutesy, lol.

Dilly Beans Designers & Friday Challenges - Love is in the Air

Another Friday challenge at Dilly beans, I have used an image from Dilly Beans called Framed - Zombie Hearts.  Coloured with Copic, added some cute heart shaped pupils and some glitter to those red hearts.  Then open the card and you have a pop up flower for your Valentine.

Poisioned Peas 1st Challenge - Freestyle

Came upon this challenge by chance, one card a month, I can fit that in, so here is my February entry. Had so much fun doing this card, I love everything steampunk and thought I would use an image from Anjies Antics called Roseheart.  Coloured image with Copic and then stuck on a number of tiny cogs and a clock face, amazing how many old watches we have at home.  Mounted on some patterned paper.

The third image I have used is from Lauretta's Digital Stamps.  Perfect for my updated Recipe book I am slowly getting through.  I have put it on a page for an Iced Coffee Syrup that I make.  If you like Iced Coffee, give this recipe a try.  Yummy!!!!
