Gift Bag

I've used a precoloured image from Polka Doodles "Cherry Blossom Lane CD" on this little gift bag, mounted on some designer paper, I have added some flowers and a bow.

I have used an "Apple Blossom" designer cardstock ( I have used it for the whole card, so the back also has the apple blossom pattern), it has a satin finish, cut out two hearts from another designer paper, added some white ribbon, which I then placed a fine gold border stick on.  Added a typed sentiment, which I coated with A Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush.

The Brown Sugar Challenge # 68 - Thanksgiving

Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Digi Stamps, always cute images check them all out HERE.

When I saw that the theme this week was going to be Thanksgiving, I picked a very cute Indian Boy, but when I checked out the images for the DT, I ended up using three images on my card, all Bobblehead images, that just belonged together.

We have Bobblehead Thanksgiving Indian Boy, Bobblehead Thanksgiving Indian Girl and Bobblhead Thanksgiving Turkey.  All coloured with Copic and Touch Pens, fussy cut and mounted onto a side step card.  The main section of the card has a cute child's prayer for thanksgiving.  Hope you like it.

Christmas

This little scene has been coloured with Copic Pens, with just a little white liquid pearls to highlight some snow.   The image already has the shading so I just needed to add some simple colouring for this one.

Wicked Wednesday ATC - Anything Goes

My ATC this week features an image from Scrappers Delight called Wood Elf.  I've coloured him with copic pens and worked some faux stitching over the stitching of his clothes.

The base for this ATC is Canvas, which  I have distressed around the border with E18 Copic pen, added some designer green paper, lace, ribbon and flowers.  Glitter has been applied to the Elf's apples and to the flowers.

The Crafters Cafe Challenge # 37 - No Such thing as too many embellishments

This was a little out of my league, I don't generally add a lot of embelllishments, I like to make the image the focus point, saying that I do think this wonderful image from Rick St Dennis "Dancing Ladies" is still the focus on my card and they definitely deserved lots of embellishment, if you are real quiet you can hear them Wishing you a Merry Christmas quite tunefully.  The back is white, the blue is just reflections in the photograph.  You can find 'Dancing Ladies' and lots of other wonderful ladies  HERE

Now for me this is a lot of embellishments.
Tags;  Split pin;  Ribbon;  Bow;  Roses;  Fringe;  Purple Mesh;  Die Cuts;  Gems, Pearls not to mention the deep red cardstock this is all mounted on and then onto a white card.

These fine ladies have been coloured with copic pens.

Remembrance

The Male Rooms challenge this fortnight is "Remembrance".  11th November is Remembrance day in different parts of the world, including Australia, the Poppy being the main symbol.

The image is called "Poppsythree stamp" (correct spelling) I do not know who the artist is as there is no indication on the image or the file name, I have had it for over 2 years.  If someone recognizes the image, please leave em a comment and I will put the artists name in this post.  Thanks

Coloured with copic pens, I have used a Kraft Card, green and red cardstock and some designer paper for the sentiment,

My simple thankyou says exactly how I feel about our Fighting Men and Women, those from our history right up to our present day heros.

How Many Years

This Anniversary card has been made with red cardstock that I have embossed and handmade paper that has been painted (sadly, not talented enough to have make the paper).  I have added pink hearts and doves and a Happy Anniversary Sentiment.

Love using Bugaboo images, this one is called "One Person to Annoy". check out the Bugaboo Store.  Coloured with Copic Pens, inspired by a News story here the other day, in Melbourne we have a couple who have just celebrated their 80th Wedding Anniversary (Groom turned 100 next day).  Now that is a milestone!

Fan-Tastic Tuesday # 9 - Anything goes - Add stars

I got to choose what we could do this week and I thought I'd like to see stars.

Our Sponsor this week is Lacy Sunshine
http://lacysunshine.weebly.com/
I chose Eleanors Wishes, click on the badge to go to Lacy Sunshine's Store to find her.
This project is quite large for me, 6.5 x 6.5 inches, and is a nursery rhyme plaque for a child's room.

I've used thick white board for the base, image has been coloured with Copic and touch pens, mounted on some star paper, with the first two lines of the nursery rhyme.  I have added glitter to some of the star paper, and the stars in the image, I have also used pink liquid pearls on some of the star paper, the "i" in wishes and to some some stars in the font which is called Moonstar.
