The prize this week is a $20 gift voucher to the Lacy Sunshine Store

Always delighful images at Lacy Sunshine, this week I chose one of her animal images, "Cliff the Stork", always love that heather names her images.

Whenever I know someone is having a baby, I make up a hamper of wipes, cotton balls and buds, soap, creams, facewashers, could be some powder, all the little bits and pieces you need to survive those first few weeks.

This challenge gave me the opportunity to make a hamper for one of my nephews and his wife who are expecting their first child in a few months. I don't know if it is a boy or girl, and as he is one of 4 boys and mum to be one of 4 girls, the betting is probably 50/50.  So, this carry-tray has been made mainly in green, it does have blue rosebud paper on it as well, but blue is for boys and the little flowers will work with a girl no matter what colour.   All the papers and the Carry Tray come from Kaiser Craft, thie image has been coloured with copic pens.
Lacy Sunshine - Cliff the Stork
Inside tray
Long Edge
Short Edge
Now will it be trimmed with BLUE
or with PINK
Ssssh! don't tell anyone, it's not finished yet, the spots on the stork's little bag will be coloured either blue or pink as will the outside trim and embellishments, round-about July, I will know which colour to use.

This is amazing. A great gift for a new baby. I think homemade gifts are more special then something bought. I have never seen this done before but this is an amazing project
