The Tale of Two Holders

I am trying really, really hard to get my craft room into some sort of order.  I have a very large box of ribbons and just sick of having to go through it all the time to hopefully find the ribbon I need.

I also have some old wooden coathangers, timber in the garage and a husband.  I took the rods out of the hangers and asked hubby if he could cut some holes in it with his thingamajig.  And he came back with the rods in the holes already for me to use, I checked it out for size and it worked perfectly, then thought I could do with another one, so asked if he could make another one but don't put it together straight away.

The one that was put together has been painted with dark blue paint, I have added lace, pearls (hard to see but they run horizontally across the middle of the lace), some flowers and a butterfly.

The other one has been covered in designer paper and has some added braid

Great, they can hold from my biggest reels to my smallest.  Recycled some old coat hangers, some scrap timber and added bits and pieces and my ribbons now have a home, found some I had forgotten I had as well.
