A Christmas Greeting

These images, the Birds and the Sentiment are from Imagine That, called "Joy Birds".  One of my favourite Christmas images, probably because my Mum's name was Joy, and when she was still with us, I would try and incorporate the word in her Christmas cards.

I coloured the image with copic pens and fussy cut, then layered it onto some bright green cardstock and fussy cut again, leaving a margin.  I did the same effect with the sentiment.  Adding some diecut holly leaves.   Liquid Pearls and lots and lots of glossy accents have also been added to the image.

Inside I have layered more green cardstock and a stamped (yeah! I used a rubber stamp) sentiment.  Probably will be using more rubber stamps as I bought myself a Stampmaster.  And now even I can get a good result with a rubber stamp.  Using a stamp and stamp pad has always been my nemesis.

You might be able to see a sheen on the word Joy, I have covered it with glossy accents.

This is a great card, and I like the non-traditional Christmas color of yellow. It is wonderful that you used one of our images. Thanks for joining us at the Imagine That Digistamp Christmas is Coming Challenge, Lisa Lynn DT.
