Time for tea

Today I have a little altered frame, featuring an image from The Paper Shelter, called "It's Time for Tea" which is this months freebie at the Outlaw Freebie Monthly Progressive challenge.

I love making these frames where the picture comes through the glass, this time the little doily, layered behind and in front of the glass.

The image has been coloured with copic pens.

The kettle was an image in my stash that I paper pieced and layered several layers so it could stand up.

The cups have been made from the same paper as the kettle, with little tea bags, made with tea bag paper , inside ready for the hot water.   Little bunch of flowers completed the frame.

It was hard to photograph, with shadows showing through the glass.  The little cups were photographed whilst being made, inside because it was very stormy weather outside.
