I chose to use an image from Beccy's The Funny Farm Kit. It is available in Digital or clear Photopolymer. Check out the kit, which comes with 3 different animals and six sentiments.
I reversed the horse, so I could have one on each side of the card. The horses have been coloured with copic pens, the background freehand drawn and also coloured with copics. The sentiment is one from the kit, BUT I did add the word Birthday.
This card has been made for our son, who moved interstate earlier this year. Whilst we are still in lockdown, he and his wife have had a relatively normal life. And yes his Father and I feel like we are living in the Funny Farm.

This month's theme is to Craft a Favourite Memory. I have so many great memories, but wiull always be grateful to have a Mum that had the patience to teach a young child to firstly embroider with cross stitch and then onto more intricate stitches and finally a sewing machine (treadle at first).
I was an only child for a number of years and I suppose I showed an interest in what she was doing and Mum found the time to teach me a craft that can never be wasted from darning a song, to making a frock, embroider ing and smocking frocks for my daughter, making clothes for my son, daughter and myself, dolls clothes etc. The list is endless. Thanks Mum.
