Crafters Cafe October 2025

This month at The Crafter's Cafe our themes are Anything Goes. Optional Christmas.

The sponsor is Polkadoodles

I chose "Holly Lantern"  I have coloured the images with Faber Castelle Black Edition pencils, originally bought for a special drawing on black paper, which is still coming, thought I would try them out on a Como Sketch Pad, really very soft and creamy leads.

Also on my card, apart from the patterned paper from my stash is a great Holly and Berry Die set, also from PolkaDoodles.  I'm usually a bit hesitant buying from overseas as postage can be quite expensive, but having bought from Polkadoodle before and I really wanted a good holly die.  There are three leaf dies in the set and the berries are a separate die with 21berries of differing sizes all on one die.

What a lovely Christmas card. This a perfect holiday season card, with this lantern and holly & berries. Here in New Zealand we would be like you, winter is over and we're looking forward for our summer Christmas. My friends in the Northern hemisphere find it so difficult with the opposite seasons. Great card and thanks so much for sharing it with us over a DigiChoosday. Good luck.
