Congratulations

Here is a cute image called "Give Me A Kiss" I chose it for part of a prize from The Paper Shelter". love these two.

Coloured with copic pens and fussy cut, I have added some pink gems to her necklace, a lace border and a congratulations sentiment.  I'm think something significant has happened in her life, look at that pose.

Inside I reversed the coloured card stock, added a little dog, more lace and a tag.

Peacocks

This is the lovely precoloured image for the monthly challenge at Imagine That, called "Peacocks"

I have digitally created the background, using one of the peacock papers and the little flowers. Typed a sentiment at the top and the bottom of the background.  The Peacock,  I printed separately and fussy cut layering with 3d squares.  I have created a border of lace at the top and the bottom and layered the back ground over the lace, added thin ribbon to the top and bottom of the print and adding a bow to the side.

Inside I printed a different version of the peackock, adding some more of the flowers.

A Page for Heavenly Sunsets

My Holiday Journal gets another pretty page for writing and photos.  I am starting on the cover tomorrow.

With a lovely image from A Day for Daisies, I created a watercolour journal page.

Completed with watercolours paints using a wash technique and a hand written quote using a Micron pen.  I have put some decorated tape down the sides.  This page will hold some small photos of the glorious sunsets we are going to witness whilst on holidays.

This photo has shows some old photos placed on the journal to show what I will be doing, I will also journal.

DigiStamps4Joy
Prize: 5 Images

Dilly Beans
Prize: 3 Stamps

Make It Crafty
Prize: $10 Gift Certificate

Paper Addictions
Prize: 5 Images

I chose an image from Digistamps 4 Joy, "Ellies Flowers" for my Lucky card this fortnight.  Thought she was just right for a bit of doodling.  If you haven't tried this type of doodling give it ago, can be done anywhere, just need a fine pen/marker, you could make up a little kit and carry it in your purse to while away those time you are sitting waiting for someone/appointments etc.  It is very addictive.

These pages were done to see how Ellie looked with different patterns, the flowers have been coloured with distress ink pens in green (think clover).

For my card, I printed the image straight onto some white cardstock, did another pattern, coloured the flowers, added a four leaf clover (hint: place four hearts together to make 4 leaf clover)  Added a sentiment and some ribbon on the inside of the card, (the back of the card extends out from the top)

DSC #130 - Font Talk 6 March, 2015

Our Sponsor for this week is
Lacy Sunshine

This week we looking for different fonts and I have used "Joey" to make an ATC, in fact 2 ATCs.

First thing I did was to hand colour Joey with copic pens, I then scanned my coloured image.  Now I can use Joey over and over if I want.

I created a background with scribble brushes and added a couple of Dr Seuss quotes in different fonts. Next I printed out the background and one sentiment only.  Added my coloured Joey and the sentiment to an ATC canvas background.

And drum rolll......

Here is the digital version, as I sometimes swap digitally, Joey looks like he could be doing some digital travelling.  The other one will go by snail mail.

One of our team was unable to use their chosen image this week. so I was lucky enough to create with  "Maddie Haddie Steampunk Window"  so this time I made an ATC.  Coloured with copic pens and cut out, I have used a canvas background, adding designer paper, diecut cogs, which have been coloured with inksand vintage glitter.  For the charm I used a heart pin (there is one on the image).
I also used glossy accents on the tea pouring from the pot and on the chain.
