I used Blue cardstock for the base of the card, and blue patterned paper, flowers and pearls, added some pink ribbon, I would have preferred blue, but never had any when I was putting the card together (late at night) so went with the pink.

What an absolutely clever card! I would've never thought to fold it this way and loved how it looked both with the band and without. It's gorgeous closed or open and the lace and other soft elements you added gave it so much elegance and class. I had to smile at your pink lace comment-- you are not alone! Many are the times when I've been slaving away late at night and am out of what I need! But I really liked how the pink lace turned out, so all's well that ends well. This is a very unique and lovely card and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog!
