The Crafter's Cafe #132 -- Monochromatic for a child (National Childhood Awareness Month) - 1 September, 2015

Our first bi-monthly challenge starts today, September being National Childhood Awareness Month, we would like to see a card for a child, and just to make it interesting, a monochromatic child's card.

Our wonderful sponsors for this challenge are

All Dressed Up

and

Bugaboo Images

I chose Deacon Baseball for my card, I kept to the colour brown throughout the card, Deacon is coloured with copics, fussy cut and layered onto a brick bench (with 3d hexagons), which has also been coloured in brown copics, yes even the flowers.  All layered onto different brown cardstocks.  The little Hi sentiment is handwritten.  Added some brown twine and braid to complete the card.
