One for Mum

This months progressive challenge image at Outlawz is from Beccy's Place, called Spring Window.   Check out her store HERE.  Wonderful Australian Digital Artist.

I love working with little windows and collage, this window was ideal. The card stock is from Stampin Up, I made the handmade paper and the image was printed three times.  Once on designer paper and twice on white card.

For the base image on the designer paper, I coloured the bricks, window frame, glass and branch with copic pens.  I hand embossed the bricks (but you cant notice it in the photos)

For the Branch and Flowers - For the First layer I coloured and then fussy cut and layered with 3d dimensions.    Next layer I coloured and fussy cut some of the flower clusters and again layered with 3d dimensions - I then added some little papers flowers.

For the little vase on the s\window sill, I coloured and fussy cut, added some diecuts and another little flower.  A stamped/punched tag completes the card.

This photo taken to show the shadows of the different layers.

  1. Your card looks wonderful Cass, the effort was definitely worth the result! I love the great texture from the handmade paper, that really adds a lot of interest to your card, and the layered elements add heaps of dimension. I'm sure your Mum is going to love this. Well done!
    Cheers,
    Beccy
