Unicorn Challenge Blog #48

This month the theme at the Unicorn Challenge blog is Pretty in Pink.  I've used Ike's World "Gypsy".

Black cardstock that has been embossed with trees, then covered with Gold Metallic Gilding polish.  Then I distressed the edges on both the black and pink cardstock and mounted onto another piece of black cardstock.

The Gypsy's skin and hair have been coloured with copic pens.  Her dress, scarf and arm bands are paper pieced.  Her blouse, has added white gel and liquid pearls added to the edgings.

Her skirt, the pink part has white gel spots, the lower skirt has had highlights added with copic pens.  Glitter and Liquid pearls have also been added to the Gyspy.  Silver edgings down the side.

What a gorgeous project! I love the gypsy you have created here and the mixed media approach you have used on this project.

I am just blown away by the precision of your gel bead placement. This is really beautiful and really expresses the essences of a "Gypsy!" Beautiful work, Cass!
