This month's The Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenge image is from Oddball Art, called Halloween Kit. Check out all the details at: The Outlawz Monthly Progressive Freebie Challenge.
We have never celebrated Halloween, usually buy some lollies in case someone knocks, very rarely anyone does, but that's OK, I then get to eat the lollies.
There are a number of images in the kit and I decided to create an Art Journal Page (this particular Art book is just about finished, then I get to start on my Mixed Media Art Journal)
I printed the images (ghosts, banners, bows, spider and sentiment) onto a background digital paper of a haunted house.
Coloured the bows, banners and the sentiment (which actually says I'm here for the boos) I took out the "I'm" as there are more than one ghost on the page. I have used glossy accents and glitter to highlight parts of the page. Drew a web with crystal glitter and a spider with black glitter.
This week's option is to make the Sentiment a focal point. The image is from Eureka, called Seasons Greetings. Coloured into copic pens and white gel pen. I have added some gold edging to the top and bottom of the card.
This month the theme at The Unicorn challenge is Spooky and/or Cute.
I went with Oddball's, Bookworm Fairy, which is becoming a favourite image of mine. This time I have coloured her in Red, White and Blue, just for a change. Lots of glitter spread over the page as well.

Coloured with copic pens, I have also used a snow pen for the snow.
Remember the Fairy and the Unicorn challenge is always Anything Goes, so long as it is related to FANTASY, think fairies, elves, gnomes., dragons etc.
For October, I have used an image from my stash, not sure who drew the little witch. Coloured with copic pens, fussy cut and layered onto a background made from strips of different patterned papers. Typed sentiment and bow completes the card.
This month's challenge is Halloween and/or Autumn. As I don't celebrate Halloween and usually do an Autumn project (which is way outside my time zone, in fact ,today will mark the second month of Spring for me), I decided to make a journal card for Halloween, maybe I can write down all the treats I will eat when no-one comes a knocking. lol
The trees are from my stash, they were in a digital set, I recoloured them digitally and have drown eyes on them. The pumpkin is from a closed store (sadly, they closed some time ago, but I still have a number of their images.) The pumpkin has been coloured with copic pens and fussy cut. The card has been embossed with a brick pattern embossing card.
And of course there is some sparkle (on their eyes)
Check out all the challenge details at:
