The Crafters Cafe Challenge #288 - 15th August 2022

This month we are celebrating "National Relaxation Day"

and joining with Double Trouble Challenge

Some background on relaxation day, which has been going for 37 years.

August 15th
Some background:  National Relaxation Day was founded back in 1985 by Sean Moeller. He was only a fourth-grader at the time. He suggested that on this date people should not do anything of real value.

We have two sponsors for this challenge

Sheepski Designs

and

Scribbles Designs

I chose an image from Scribbles designs, called Cozy.  Firstly I created some background paw prints and the sentiment.  The image has been coloured with copic pens.

Always thought I would have plenty of relaxation when I retired, yet I seem to be twice as busy.  Lets hope the recipient of the card has more luck.

I sure am glad I wasn't Sean Moeller's 4th grade teacher - he sounds like a right little troublemaker! I'm so glad you're able to fill your days with colouring like this and sharing it with us! Relaxing for you and definitely of value to us!
Thanks for joining us on the front porch at 613 The Avenue Create and hope to see you soon,
Hugs, Kate (Cards a la Kate)!

Adorable retirement card! Beautiful coloring on everything. Love the cute pup and kitty peeking over the chair. I totally agree about retirement. I am busier than I ever was before I retired. Thanks for sharing at 613 Avenue Create's August, "Anything Goes" Challenge.

Fur-babies are the ultimate relaxers, that is when they are tired... adorable and sweet card. My cat Cleo often hangs out on the back of my chairs or couch. Don’t forget to enter your card in our challenge at Double Trouble to be eligible for two chances of our random draw… and a third chance if you have flower(s) included in your project.

Your card is so darn cute, Cass! The expression of that pup's face is irresistible! Great job coloring the image, too! So glad to partner with you guys for this Double Trouble challenge! It's true we are busier than ever after retiring, but I like to think it's because we now can do all those things we WANTED to do but didn't have the time for when we had a paying job :-D -Donna

This is just adorable. I hear that about retirement - that life just gets busier. I'm glad you are at least having time to make a card. So glad you entered this cute one in our challenge at Double Trouble! :)
