Brown Sugar Challenge No 50

Brown Sugar Challenge this week is Shades of Blue.  My all time favourite colour.  I got to play with two very different artists images this week, so two very different cards.

The first one shows an image from Delicious Doodle "In the Harbour", which you can find HERE

I have used watercolopur pencils to colour the image, adding clouds as I went.  The inside shows the same image, but this time I only coloured the wooden parts of the boats.
Scroll down for the next card!!!!!!
.

Inside
The second card has a Sassy Studio Design called "Sassy Showgirl" which you can find HERE.  This time I used Copic and Touch pens, all blues of course, gave her shoes a touch of glitter and mounted the image on some sparkling bubble paper.  The little sentiments have been created with a font called "Cocktail Bubbly"

Summer Faerie

This cute little image was the inspiration for my fat page. Due to the amount of hours I have had to work this week, sadly crafting has had to take a huge backward step and I only managed 3 projects this week.  This one is entered into a few different challenges, listed below all asking for something different.  'Summer Faerie' which is by Rick St Dennis can be found HERE.
The image has been coloured with Copic and Touch Pens, a flower added to her hair, glossy accents on her wand, swirls coming from her wand  also have stickles as does her gown and wings.  I have followed a sketch from Pattie at Fat-tastic Tuesday where you can find a new fat page challenge every fortnight, this sketch was from their second challenge.

My completed fat page

And this is how I use some of my fat pages mounted on different cardstock and paper, they fit beautifully on a 5x5 card, all I had to do was add a flower.

Crafters Cafe Challenge No 19

The Crafters Cafe has now gone to a weekly challenge, the theme this week is Anything Goes.  My card is a Christmas one, cute image from Rick St Dennis called 'We Three Geese' and can be found HERE.  Coloured with copic and touch pens, and added bling, liquid pearls and kindy glitter for the crowns.  I started with white cardstock for the card and then distressed with different gold/pearl inks, then decided it wasn't exactly what I wanted, so I layered image on some coloured cardstock and green patterned paper, placing it so that it looked like they were following the star.   When I placed it on the inked card, something was missing, so I carefully put the card in the printer, crossed my fingers that I had it lined up correctly and typed in the sentiment.  Now I was happy.

Garden Inspiration

The paper shelter this week has a photo of a beautiful garden for inspiration with lots of pinks, purples, greens, red, brown and beige colouring.  The garden is really pretty and I am always fascinated by what people see in photos.  For me this time, I saw a wall at the back of the garden, now surely something is growing on it!

I used some patterned cardstock to make the card, the inset is to show the inside of the card.
Back and small inset is inside pattern
On the front of the card, I have layered kraft paper and an image called garden wall, which I have coloured with Copic and Touch pens and also coloured pencils.  I have added some small leaves abnd flowers, some bling, ribbon and a simple sentiment.
