Digital Art

When the house is quiet, the hubby is in bed or out and there is just the whir of the harddrive and today, the wind blowing, that is when I love to sit at the computer and create.  This image is one I got from Dover Publications, as is the Leprechaun.  Thanks to the magic of PSE and about 3 hours of heavenly peace and quiet, the phone didn't even ring, this is what I have come up with for a couple of challenges.

I started with a black and white print of the swing scene, except for the face and hands, all other sections have been layered with different papers from the many kits of  Retro Designs, the little butterfly and bird are also from Retro Designs, check her kits out, stunning.  Bevelled a lot of the pieces to give a quilted effect, added an Irish Blessing.

Entered into:
Collage Obsession - I can fly  and
Sunday Postcard Art -  St Patricks Day

  1. Having the figure ascending out of the picture is such a good idea and so effective. I like the whole image very much, and the Irish blessing. A lovely collage and so well composed.

  2. Great perspective on this piece. Lots of imagination! :)
