Wintertime

I have to begin by saying I am most definitely not a Winter Person, give me Sun, lots of Sun underneath a Clear Blue Sky, don't shut me in.  (Apologies to Cole Porter).

Here are a couple of pages I have made for swapping groups that I belong to, the first is a friendship page and the theme is Winter.  Made use of Rick St Dennis images that I recently won, check out Rick's Zibbet site HERE.

Front Page with a pocket, cottage picture is a scan from an old address book that I turned into a digital image, has been coloured with Copic pens and liquid pearl for the snow.  Added sticker lettering for Winter and a large snowflake button.
Reverse Page, humour is a great way to get through those cold days and nights, Rick St Dennis image "Let It Snow"
Top two photos are tags to go in the pocket, Rick St Dennis image, "An Old Man's Dreams", the house, is from the same address book as the cottage above, I digitally added rain, coloured image with copics and then added Glossy Accents for raindrops, on the back is a poem about rain. Bottom left is a closeup of the front page cottage and the little penguin is an ATC that I did sometime ago, he will tuck into the pocket also.
My friendship page, complete with the tags ready for mailing.
My next project is for a Graphic45 swap group.  The theme this time was to make a fat page for a fat page album and again the theme is Winter.  The page has an extra inch on the side so that it can be inserted into an album.

The cardstock, tag and the fairy are all from Graphic45, I have added a bow, pearls, bling, and liquid pearls.
The little flower buttons are also from graphic 45, added a little poem about winter and some snowflake ribbon

Wow, these are some lovely pages. Yes I prefer the warmth too. I love pictures of snowy scenes, but would rather have some sun!
