A Big Thank You

This first card has an image from DS4J, it is their monthly Christmas image for December.  Coloured with Copic Pens, glitter and liquid pearls for highlights.  Mounted on white sparkling paper, with silver ribbon and gold edgings.  A Silver star and gold sentiment completes this card.

A big thankyou to Digistamps 4 Joy for these wonderful monthly Christmas images.

Next card has an image by From the Heart and is called "Christmas Spirit Birdbrain", which was the December image, coloured with Copic Pens and given a big red nose, layered with matching cardstock and a gold sentiment.

A big thankyou to From The Heart for their wonderful monthly images.

The next card has an image from Imagine That, called Joy Birds, it was their December challenge image.

I have always wanted to use the word Joy on someone's card whose name was Joy. Everyone calls Mum Joy, but that didn't make sense to make a card for Mum with her name.  Now I know a little girl whose second name is Joy.  And this image was perfect.

I used little wooden letters, covered with a gold pen for her first name (my watermark is over it), then coloured the image with copic pens, layered onto striped paper which has the words of "Twas the night before Christmas" on it. Added a gold sentiment to complete the card.

A big thankyou to Imagine That for their wonderful monthly images.
Inside I typed a little poem

Next card for this post has an image from Lacy Sunshine, always cute! Called Christmas Caroller, it is this fortnights challenge image.  I think I was a bit over red, I went bright, brighter and brightest  (is there such a word?).  Coloured with Copic pens, I have used glitter on her hair and the musical notes. Silver paint for her ear muffs and gloves, liquid pearls for the snow.  Then I added a bright red flower! Guess I'm not over red yet!

A big thankyou to Lacy Sunshine for their wonderful fortnightly images.

One last card, this time the image is from A Day for Daisies, simply called "Teddy".  Coloured with Copic pens,  Teddy looks a bit spotty, but I have highlight him with some gold sparkly ink.  His spots are from the sun highlighting the glitter.  Fussy cut and layered onto a die cut, mounted on red and green matching cardstock.  And another of those red flowers popped in, they are from Flourish with a Bling

A big thankyou to A Day for Daisies for their wonderful challenge images.

All of your cards are lovely! I will comment on the Joy card since that's the one you've linked up to Glitter n Sparkle! Love the image and paper used and how you personalized it with the little girl's name. Great way to finish the inside too. Thank you for joining us at Glitter n Sparkle for our Traditional Christmas Colours challenge! Best of luck to you in our prize draw!

Stunning creations and I just adore how you have coloured the king and the gold and silver is just so lush. Thank you for taking the time to use this December’s free Christmas image. Also thank you for taking part in our 2014 Progressive Christmas challenge. It was an honour to have you participating with us. Unfortunately the challenge will not continue in 2015, but I take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones a blessed festive season.
Hugs
