Bookmark

For this bookmark I have used an image from Robyn's Digital Stamps and More, called "School Girl 2".  To make this type of bookmark you do need to choose your image carefully, and this image was perfect.

I printed the image twice, flipping it over so I had mirror versions.  coloured both images with copic pens and fussy cut.  Glued the two images together, using a glue stick, carefully aligning them, some trimming was required.

Once the images had dried I cut a line along the little lunch box, up the side of her arm and along the shoulder strap.  This is why yopu need to choose your image carefully, so that you have a natural line to follow for the cutting.

If the book looks old, it is because it is, this little golden book is 50 years old next year and has had many little and big hands holding and turning the pages over many years.
