Southern Girls - Use Metal - 23 Aug, 2018

Sponsor for this challenge is

I've used an image in my stash from Lacy Sunshine called Chefkin Troll.  He has been coloured with copic pens and fussy cut.

I have to Cooking Journals, one for savory and one for sweet dishes, always wanted to alter their black covers but never seem to get around to it or the mojo just hasn't been there.  But after finding these tiny metal charms, together with Chefkin, thought they would make a great cover.

Did a test run with the wonder tape to see if I could get any paper to adhere to the poly something or other covers and found the Wonder Tape from Rangers worked.

The charms have been attached to the paper with split pins before the paper was adhered to cover.  Chefkin glued to the cover (keeping things as flat as possible on the cover. Found a scrap of edging that has been added to the sides, typed a quote and now by sweet cooking Journal has a different cover.

This is so lovely! The green dotted background and fun sentiments go well with the adorable child holding cupcakes. Love the metal eembellishments, too. Every detail is so beautifully combined. Thank you for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge this week, Cass.
