I chose Love Birds to create my card, have coloured the birds with copic pens, and the highlights in the nest also, but the majority of the nest has been coloured with cream and basic chalks, coloured smoothly at first then in a crisscross pattern. Added a sentiment and some glitter hearts. I used a green backing because I did not want a lot of red on the card, then I realised, green worked, think of it as the leaves of the tree they are nesting in, lol.
